Catathai has been producing catamarans since 2004. The shipyard is based in Phuket, Thailand. Today, the company is managed by Gilles Reigner, a doctor of physics specializing in structural dynamics, and Daruwan, captain in the Thai merchant navy. Gilles is a real enthusiast for both catamarans and material technology (with some patent applications) and was attracted by the human adventure that a builder such as Catathai represents “with boats designed by French excellence and built by skilled men who live, sail and work in the Tropics.”
