Description
Designed by the young French designer François Perus, the C-Cat 48 was designed to sail the sea in safety, comfort, and speed with a family crew.
The C-C at 48, follows the same philosophy of C-Cat 37 and incorporates the main concepts: the cockpit protected by a large bimini and fully closable for pleasant outdoor livability, the cockpit and dinette on the same floor, divided only by a large sliding door to have a single large open space living room.
The maneuvers of the C-Cat 48 are made particularly easy by the double stern wheelhouse, with all deck equipment immediately available to the helmsman, for total control of the sails without leaving the cockpit. This solution makes the boat really manageable by only one person both on sailing and for mooring.
Navigation is made pleasant, safe, and easy thanks to the net high on the water, which together with the light displacement, favors the passage on the wave. The solution that cancels the typical blows in the hull of the heavier cat.
The relationship between sail surface and displacement has been carefully designed to place the C – Cat 48 at the top of the performance cruiser category.
Modern and efficient, the C-Cat 48 is equipped with movable scimitar drifts, with a partial downforce effect and the adoption of an internal wheelhouse (optional).
Many construction options, however, start from a very high standard that provides a laminated sandwich structure infused with multiaxial fabrics and epoxy-vinyl matrix. The bulkheads shall be composite with carbon-reinforced spaces.
The boat interiors are proposed as the larger sisters in two highly customizable versions: Antigua structured for life on board sportily comfortable with solutions that keep it lighter, and S.Barth more luxurious, with all the amenities for those who love to feel at home on a boat.

I'm interested in buying this catamaran but have questions
There are many ways to buy a catamaran and the procedure varies between manufacturers. It's a process that takes time and you should not be afraid of starting talks with the manufacturer.
Here are some common questions you might have:
Can I afford it? Talk to the manufacturer and they can advise you on financing options.
Can I sail it? Arrange a test sail with the manufacturer, or ask them directly what kind of support and education they offer for boat buyers.
If you need anything else, be it more details, an introduction to the manufacturer, a shipyard visit, a test sail, or help with customatization, let us know on the Help Me page after clicking below and we’ll help you take the next step.
